By accessing or using Contexta (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Contexta provides a long-term memory layer that connects to AI assistants and data sources you explicitly authorize. The Service is currently offered in beta; features may change or be discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you connect to the Service. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service for you. You represent that you have the rights necessary to connect the content you provide.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service beyond what applicable law permits.
• Do not upload content you are not authorized to process (e.g. third-party personal data without basis).

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (AI models, messaging platforms, cloud storage). Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

6. Beta disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" during beta, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Contexta and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
